Topping up
Buying credits — the packages available, how regions and payment methods differ, the states a top-up moves through, and which wallet the credits land in.
Credits are bought in packages rather than arbitrary amounts, and the packages available depend on your region.
Regions
Three: India, the EU, and the rest of the world. Pricing is adjusted per region rather than converted, so a business in one market is not paying another market's rate through an exchange rate.
Current package prices are on the pricing page.
Payment methods
Card, UPI and net banking, subject to what is available in your region.
What a top-up goes through
Created
The attempt exists. Nothing has been charged.
Pending
Payment is in progress with the provider.
Verified
Payment confirmed and credits added to the wallet.
Failed or cancelled
Nothing was added. A failed payment is not a partial one.
Reconciled
Matched against the provider's own settlement record.
That last state is the one worth knowing exists. Every top-up is reconciled against what the payment provider says happened, so the wallet balance and the money that actually moved are checked against each other rather than assumed to agree.
Who is topping up
A top-up is made in a context — as yourself, as a sales agent, or as a business — and the credits land in that context's wallet.
This matters if you hold more than one. Topping up while acting as yourself does not fund your business's wallet. See Acting contexts.
Where the money side lives
A top-up produces an invoice against a billing account. That account holds the tax identity the invoice is raised under — see Billing.
Credits & wallet
How credits work on Bidancer — what they cost, which actions spend them, when they are refunded, and why the ledger is append-only.
Overview
The billing account behind a wallet — the name on the invoice, the tax identity, and why the four GST registration statuses have to be right before you top up.
