Businesses

What a business account is on Bidancer — how it differs from a personal one, what it unlocks, and the sections behind it — registration, settings, team and verification.

A business is the entity that publishes, receives and commits. It is not a login — you still sign in as yourself and act for it.

What a business unlocks

Things a personal account cannot do:

  • Publish signalsproducts, services, franchise offerings
  • Receive enquiries against what it publishes
  • Host tenders, and bid on other people's
  • Run or exhibit at trade shows
  • Hold a team, with roles

All of it requires verification first.

One person can hold several

You may belong to more than one business, and a business may have many people in it. Neither is unusual and neither needs separate accounts.

What you are acting as at any moment is the acting context, and it is deliberately explicit rather than inferred — an enquiry sent as yourself and one sent as your business are read very differently by whoever receives them.

The business owns the record

Enquiries received, tenders awarded, engagements completed and ratings earned belong to the business, not to whoever happened to handle them.

That is the point of the team model. People join and leave; the track record they built stays with the business, and the next buyer's eligibility rules read it.
